Arm the Ordinary is an American rock band formed in Denver, Colorado, in 2008. In its short career, the band has consisted of vocalist/guitarist Thomas Matthew, bassist Greg Parkhill, and drummer Jeffrey. The band's varied musical style has fused traditional rock and post punk with various elements of new wave, punk rock, and hard rock.

When Arm the Ordinary released their first record 'Israel EP' late spring of 2008, they were praised for doing the unthinkable, defying all conventions in music culture.  Dramatic, Loud, & Aggressive this three piece band derives the best from the post-punk era adding a new modern twist.

Music inspired by amazing albums of the past such as Joy Division's Closer & Killing Joke's Revelations.  This full-fledged underground band is bringing to life a new fresh sound while honoring the past. 

"Nothing has ever been handed to us, we have had to work very hard to release this EP.  These songs mean more to me than anything I've ever created", says frontman Thomas Matthew.  "We don't fit in with any other bands....I've been amazed how receptive and loyal our fans are."

Arm the Ordinary has been able to cross musical borders. Gaining respect and sharing the stage with both national & international bands of all genres of music.
